New director for QLogic

Ex-Western Digital business unit COO
QLogic has appointed Kathryn Braun Lewis, the ex COO and president of Western Digital's personal storage division, to its board of directors.
Lewis retired from Western Digital in 1998. She has held board positions at 3 publicly traded companies: Lantronix, Inc., a producer of innovative networking solutions, Artisoft, Inc., a supplier of computer telephony products, and PacifiCorp, an electric utility company now part of Warren Buffet's portfolio.
H.K. Desai, QLogic's chairman and CEO, said: "I am confident that Kathy will be a significant contributor to QLogic's strategic vision. Based on her extensive leadership experience as a senior executive with a leading multinational technology company, as well as her previous board experience, she will be an invaluable addition to our board of directors."
