Microsoft “Heroes Happen Here” Launch Event, Los Angeles, CA, February 27, 2008 -- FalconStor Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: FALC), the only provider of Totally Open™ network storage software solutions, today announced that the FalconStor® Network Storage Server (NSS) and the FalconStor Continuous Data Protector™ (CDP) solutions, with built in snapshot technology for Windows, enable fast, risk free migration of customer applications during migration from the Windows Server 2003 platform to Windows Server 2008.

FalconStor’s migration technology arms customers with built-in roll back and roll-forward features as part of their pilot and production migration planning. Users are able to preserve and copy their existing Microsoft Windows 2003 environments using FalconStor Software’s highly efficient snapshot technology for migration modeling purposes both in their production and their testing facilities.

The FalconStor Network Storage Server was named #1 Virtualization Product in a January 2008 CRN study of Virtualization Products that offer thin provisioning.
