Apple wireless backup Time Capsule ships

Apple is now shipping its wireless backup appliance for Macs called Time Capsule. Meanwhile Microsoft's woes with Windows Home Server continue.
Time Capsule, announced at the January 15th Macworld, is an Airport Extreme wireless base station plus a hard drive.
The unit features 2-band 802.11n antennas (ofor the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands). It has a USB 2.0 port plus four Ethernet ports.
Mac's with the Leopard version of Mac OS have a Time Machine application which automatically backs up changed files to Time Capsule's hard disk over a wireless link. Previously Time Machine required a cabled link to an external hard drive.
Windows Home Server has well-publicised data corruption problems and its apparent development testing inadequacies compare poorly with Apple's more dependable and elegant product.
A 500GB Time Capsule costs $299 and 1TB version is priced at $499.
