Santa Clara, Calif. – March 17, 2008 – NEC Corporation of America, a premier provider of IT, network and identity management solutions, and Promark Technology, a premier value added distributor focusing on data storage and document imaging, today announced a partnership for Promark to distribute NEC’s broad array of dynamic infrastructure products and solutions to value added resellers (VARs) and system integrators (SIs) in the commercial and government markets.

This agreement gives Promark’s channel partners smart choices for flexible, scalable, easy-to-manage IT solutions that help lower overall TCO for the data center.

The distribution agreement includes NEC’s storage, server, high availability and business continuity software, and virtual desktop solutions.

Promark will utilize its reseller relationships to distribute NEC’s D-Series storage arrays, Express5800 servers, ExpressCluster high availability and business continuity software, and Virtual PC Center product lines. NEC’s integrated set of hardware and software were developed specifically to meet the needs of commercial and government organizations for a dynamic and scalable infrastructure.
