Plasmon progresses under Murphy's law
posted on 09 May 2008 08:31
Under CEO Steve Murphy's rule Plasmon is strengthening its Colorado base. Western Electronics will help with base-level assembly of Plasmon's GX and G archival storage chassis, and Plasmon is expanding its office space.
Western Electronics is a Colorado-based contract manufacturer. Western Electronics began the qualification of the GX product line in January of this year. The qualification for the Enterprise G Series is underway and is expected to be released for production in June.
Plasmon has leased 44,000 square feet of office space in a building in the InterQuest Office Park in Colorado Springs.
Plasmon's worldwide headquarters are in Cambridge, UK, and its U.S. headquarters are located in Broomfield, Colorado. The company believes that strong US sales are a pre-requisite for its future and has been steadily building up its US presence.
