HP buying EDS

Storage implications?
HP is in talks to buy global software services firm EDS. Are there any storage implications here? Not really.
EDS will, if the sale is consummated, be integrated into or with the equivalent of HP Global Services and be independent in its choice of hardware and software for its customers.
HP will, over time, get more capability in selling large scale and complex storage set-ups in projects. EDS staff will become more knowledgable about HP storage products.
That's it. No big deal from the storage point of view but a very big deal for HP generally, $13 billion of it if the WSJ report is correct.
