According to IDC data the combined HP and EDS business will overtake EMC in storage revenues.
IBM is number one in storage revenues, HP+EDS two, EMC three, Sun four - now that's a surprise - and Dell is number five (with EMC kit helping out though). So where is EMC if the Dell sales of its products are added in?
Thanks to Taylor Allis of Sun for pointing this revised ranking out.
However EMC disputes this, saying IDC does not track storage revenues so how could it know?
