Imation's tiny Atom flash drive

posted on 26 June 2008 10:40

How small can thumb drives get?

Imation has introduced a tiny flash drive that is the most likely thumb drive to be mislaid you will come across.

Actually it has a lanyard system to help you keep it. Holding 1, 2, 4 or 8GB it weighs less than an ounce (0.02lbs) and is half an inch wide and 1.5 inches long. It is a valid Windows Vista ReadyBoost target, features password protection and its capacity can be partitioned.

The cost? Depending upon its capacity it is $17.99 (1GB) up to an eye-watering $99.99 (8GB).
