Richard Shea becomes VP North America sales

Perhaps the 'i' in iSCSI stands for incestuous; LeftHand Networks has just appointed Richard Shea, a now ex-area sales VP at EqualLogic, to its VP for North America sales.

Shea will focus on furthering LeftHand Networks’ iSCSI SAN position and driving revenue growth through its network of channel partners.
Over the past eight years he has served in top executive sales roles while at EqualLogic and, previously, EMC. Left Hand states that; 'During this time he developed a reputation for creating effective sales and channel go-to-market strategies, building successful sales teams and working closely with North American channel partners to drive growth and consistently deliver exceptional results.'

David Bangs, worldwide sales VP at LeftHand Networks, said: “Rich Shea’s outstanding sales background and strong reputation within the storage area networking industry make him a great asset to our team. Rich brings proven success in high-growth businesses, proven knowledge of the market, and a proven track record for generating traction with innovative, advanced technologies.”

Left Hand says it has more than 2,700 customers and is the largest pure-play iSCSI vendor, providing customers with highly-available iSCSI storage sproducts ideal for virtualized environments, data center, remote office and branch office environments.
