You mean you couldn't do it before!

Up until now an Xbox 360 DVD game stayed on the DVD although the Xbox has a hard drive. That's going to change as Microsoft adds the ability to copy a game from the slow DVD to the much faster hard drive.
Marc Whitten, a Microsoft staffer, writes about this in a Microsoft Xbox 360 blog, saying: "Here is a look at some additional features you will find interesting: Play from hard drive. Copy your games from the game disc and play directly from the hard drive. Not only will the (DVD) drive not spin, but load times are quicker, as well. Of course, you will still need the (DVD) disc in the tray to prove you own the game."
How bizarre that the game speed up potential of playing games off the hard drive has not been offered up until now.
